The Palmas Academy has several openings for the 2024-25 school year.

The following positions are open for next year:


  • Dean of Student Life (Grades PK -12)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree, master's, or more advanced degrees preferred 
    • At least three (3) years in a teaching role in a private or independent school 
    • Experience mentoring, counseling, or working with youth. 
    • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and oral) .
    • Experience overseeing extracurricular programs and special interest clubs.

  • Teachers - All Subjects (Grades PK -12)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree, master's, or more advanced degrees preferred. 
    • At least one (1) year in a private or independent school teaching role.
    • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and oral) - except for Spanish teachers.

  • Summer Program (8th-12th Grade)

    Field: 

    • Algebra I
    • Algebra II
    • Pre-AP Science
    • Pre-AP Math
    • Soccer Coach
    • Volleyball Coach
    • Cross Country Coach

    Requirements: 

    • Bachelor's degree, master's, or more advanced degrees preferred. 
    • At least one (1) year in a private or independent school teaching role.
    • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and oral).

  • Registrar

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Administration (Master's, or more advanced degrees preferred).
    • At least two (2) years in a similar role in a private or independent school. 
    • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and oral).
