At The Palmas Academy, we create a community of learners that recognizes, develops, and fosters the students’ innate talents and traits through their participation in academic, athletic and artistic activities, as well as opportunities for participation in special clubs, and community service.
At The Palmas Academy (TPA), we understand that our children's education is the most important investment of all, but that the cost of private schooling can be burdensome for some families.
Our school takes pride in making available the opportunity of a high-quality college preparatory education to students from all socio-economic backgrounds. The TPA team is consistently working on growing our Scholarship Fund to bring more exceptionally talented individuals to the Dolphin Pod. We also offer financial aid to families with demonstrated need. In this section, you will be able to explore the different forms of aid available, the requirements, and the application process.
Families with demonstrated financial need, who are admitted to TPA, and have at least a C+ average or better, are eligible for Financial Aid. Students in grades K to 12 are eligible for Financial Aid.
Awarded to students from grades 6th to 12th who demonstrate special talent in academics, arts, or athletics.
Our Academic Achievement Scholarship awards students outstanding academic performance. For students in grades 7-11. To qualify, students must have a minimum of A- cumulative grade average. Evidence of academic excellence is needed, contact the Admissions Office for details. .
Aspiring artists with exceptional talent and demonstrated financial need are eligible for scholarships. For students in grades 7-11. To qualify, students must have a minimum of B cumulative grade average. Evidence of special talent is needed, contact the Admissions Office for details.
TPA recognizes the importance of athletic activities as a source to develop discipline, teamwork, strategy, and leadership skills. For students in grades 7-11. To qualify, students must have a minimum of B- cumulative grade average. Evidence of special talent is needed, contact the Admissions Office for details.
To be eligible for a scholarship, financial aid, or financial support, each family must complete the TADS Survey. TADS is a third-party audit system to ensure fairness and transparency in determining and awarding Scholarships, Financial Aid, or Financial Support.
Circumstances are ever-changing, and our lives can be altered from one day to the next. Our Financial Support Program exists for situations such as losing a loved one, sudden unemployment, or unforeseen financial difficulties conditions. Families who qualify can reduce costs of tuition for up to two (2) years.
