college Placement Counseling

The College Counseling Services at The Palmas Academy have two highly regarded and very experienced college admissions advisors. They have decades of experience in Puerto Rico's working in Puerto Rico's best private schools, attaining an extraordinary record of helping students gain admissions to the top colleges and universities in the U.S., including Ivy League universities and the most competitive post-secondary institutions.

Our counselors focus on working with our seniors each year, but they also devote time to our high school students starting in ninth grade. They work on offering basic guidance to start thinking strategically for the future.  As students reach the tenth and eleventh grades, they continue to meet with our college counselors and begin to work more frequently and deliberately by the spring semester of their junior year.

Additional academic advising is offered to underclassmen by our other senior administrators, including the Head of School, the Associate Head of School, and the Secondary School Principal.
