Dr. Lilliam Morales Learning Enrichment Center
The Dr. Lilliam Morales Learning Enrichment Center at The Palmas Academy is an educational alternative for students who have been identified with unique learning challenges and require an individualized or small group learning environment to complement their regular academic program. It also offers one-to-one instruction to gifted students who seek specialized instructional support.
Our goals
- Provide specialized educational services for students with varied academic needs.
- Offer students with language-based challenges, highly focused instruction, and support in reading and writing skills.
- Reinforce the skills taught in the regular classroom utilizing teaching methods that align with each student’s learning style.
- Deliver to each student teaching methods and strategies geared towards the student’s individual needs in Math and English.
- Benefit students with the accommodations and modifications they are entitled to in a more tailored classroom to strengthen the skills in the core standards and the TPA curriculum.
- Teach one-on-one English, Math, or Science classes according to each student’s cognitive level.
- Develop Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) for students sponsored by the Department of Education Special Education Program and the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA).

- Barton language therapy for students with Dyslexia
- Support for students without a learning disability in English and math.
