Summer 2026 Offerings are here!
We are excited to announce that Summer 2026 Camp at The Palmas Academy is now open for registration.
Our programs run Monday through Friday from June 1–30, 2026, and are open to students from all schools and communities across eastern Puerto Rico.
Families can choose from three different camp experiences:
Dolphins Summer Camp – classic summer fun with games, outdoor activities, arts, and hands-on activities
Isla y Lengua – an immersive Spanish language and cultural camp designed to build fluency through engaging activities and experiences
Summer Academics – booster and enrichment courses that help students strengthen skills, explore new subjects, and stay engaged over the summer.
All programs take place on The Palmas Academy campus in Palmas del Mar.

Dolphins Summer Camp
Dolphins Summer Camp
- Ages: 4–15
- Dates: June 1–30, 2026
- Times: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Focus: Sports, recreation, arts, and fun activities
- Sports & Activities:
- Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, Futsal, Pickleball, Chess, Table Tennis, Karate, Swimming (Beach Club)
- Arts & Crafts, Movies, Dance, Talent Show, Hiking, Freaky Friday (Water Games), Treasure Hunt
- Field Trips (organized by age group): Horse Riding, Kayaking, Snorkeling, Sailing, Zip Lining
- Cost: $725 + tax
- Flexible Enrollment: Full Month or Weekly Sessions
- Includes: Lunch, Insurance, 1 T-shirt
- Special rates for TPA students/employees
- Additional discount for the second/each additional child
- Extras:
- Open to students from other schools and communities
- Toddlers must be toilet-trained
Isla & Lengua
Isla & Lengua
- Grades: 5–12
- Dates: June 1–30, 2026
- Times: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Focus: Spanish immersion rooted in Puerto Rican culture, history, and nature. Builds real-world vocabulary, communication skills, and cultural understanding
- Structure:
- Monday–Wednesday: Thematic classroom learning, projects, language labs
- Thursday–Friday: Educational field trips aligned with weekly themes
- Weekly Themes:
- Cooking & Food Culture – Vocabulary & culinary traditions
- Flora & Fauna – Wildlife, habitats, conservation
- History & Culture – Music, traditions, landmarks
- Island Adventures – Landscapes, weather, outdoor experiences
- My Life in Spanish – Expressing routines, emotions, and personal identity
- Cost: $750 + tax

Summer Academics
Summer Academics
- Grades: 9-12
- Dates: June 1–30, 2026
- Times: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Offerings:
- Booster Courses (Strengthen Skills): Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry
- Accelerated Courses: Algebra IB, Geometry (requires teacher recommendation)
- SAT Prep: Online & In-Person for grades 9–11
- Requirements:
- Attend at least 90% of program hours
- Teacher recommendation for accelerated courses
- Must earn 91%+ to be considered successful
- Completion does not guarantee placement in next accelerated course
- Cost: $650 per course (4 hours/day)
