High School at TPA
High School at The Palmas Academy (Grades 9–12) is where Dolphins come into their own — academically, socially, and personally. Our students challenge themselves with a wide range of Advanced Placement (AP) courses and a rich variety of electives that let them explore passions in the arts, sciences, technology, and beyond.
Every student benefits from personalized college counseling, beginning early and continuing through the application process, ensuring they find the right-fit university. Alongside rigorous academics, students thrive in a vibrant athletic program and a wide range of clubs, arts, and extracurricular opportunities that make high school life full and exciting.
Most importantly, our students are happy and balanced — supported by teachers who know them well, surrounded by friends, and engaged in meaningful learning without the culture of stress found at many high schools. They graduate as confident, well-rounded Dolphins, ready to succeed in college and in life.

Electives You'll Love
Explore new horizons with electives in Drama, Art, Philosophy, Entrepreneurship, and Strength & Conditioning. Our electives help students discover passions and develop talents beyond the core.

Ready for What's Next
College readiness is woven through every year. In 10th grade, students practice advanced analysis in AP Seminar; in 11th grade, they refine their voice in Writers Workshop. With tools like Naviance and one-on-one counseling, every Dolphin is supported in finding the right college fit.
Beyond the Classroom
- Learning to Lead: Dolphins grow as leaders in every arena — through AP classwork, student government, captaining teams, leading clubs, and taking initiative in the arts
- Beyond the Classroom: From New York's Broadway Stages to the rainforest of El Yunque, our students get real world exprience and connection.
- Character Counts: Seamless integration of our Dolphin Learner Profile across the curriculum means that students are developing character traits for lifelong success. Students are also required to complete at least 100 hours of service for graduation - because we put our words into action.
